Okay so here’s the thing, this was supposed to be a dog blog.

Like, fully. Chevy (senior rescue, professional couch warmer, currently snoring at my feet) was the whole plan. Dog names. Bucket lists. Maybe a printable or two. Cute, small, done.

But then I started designing wallpaper backgrounds at 2 AM because I couldn’t find a single one on Pinterest that didn’t look like a stock photo from 2007. And I posted a set of fall wallpapers almost as an afterthought. And it became my most-viewed post ever. By a lot. More than the dog names. More than everything.

And I was like… oh. Okay then. 😅

So I leaned in. I started writing about the nail ideas I was already saving at midnight anyway, the simple ones, the ones you can screenshot without needing a whole tutorial. I kept designing wallpaper backgrounds because honestly I couldn’t stop (my lock screen changes more often than my skincare routine and I’m not sorry about it). And I started putting together gift guides because I’d been the girl panic-googling “gifts for boyfriend” at 11 PM too many times to not write the post I wished existed.

That’s what Life with Chevy is now. Not a dog blog anymore. Not really a lifestyle blog either. More like, if your friend who always has cute nails and a semi organized Pinterest board started a website? It’s that.

I’m Nina! Graphic designer by degree, blogger by 2 AM accident. I will die on the hill that your phone wallpaper should spark joy every time you check the time, and that nails are self-care. I spend way too much time curating gift guides so you don’t have to. And yes, my most popular post still isn’t about my dog (and I’m still not mad about it 😏).

Chevy’s still here. Still the name on the door. Still the best coworker I’ve ever had.
