Why did we decide to stay at The Dalmar? I have 3 good reasons:
- Because it looked so fancy! I have never stayed at a 5-star hotel before, and I’m all in for my dog!
- It is one of the Marriott hotels in Fort Lauderdale, and I’m all about getting and using my member points. And I did; we ended up ”paying” a night with points!
- Location! The hotel was a short ride to downtown, Las Olas Blvd, and the beach.
Things you must know:
- You must know they charge a non-refundable Pet Fee of $100 per stay.
- We paid $354 for a night and the second night with points I had accumulated from previous stays at Marriott hotels.
- The price included the valet parking fee per stay, that usually is $32 daily. I usually don’t pay for valet parking, but on this trip, we did, and I was happy we did; it was so comfortable with all the bags and handling Chevy! I recommend you get it too!
- Be sure to use the $25 complimentary ticket daily. As a Marriot member, you can spend that amount in their bars on-site. We used ours for breakfast or cocktails.
