Do you ever almost hate someone because they obsess over their dogs? Well, I can’t say I never did. And now I have become that person.
Am I too annoying? Do I talk too much about my dog? Do I change my voice when talking to my dog? Yes, yes, and yes!
People do the same with their human babies, so why wouldn’t I do it with my dog, the living thing that makes me so happy?!
Dogs vs Babies
Having a dog is not the same as having a child; I get it. I don’t have kids, so I can’t comment on that. But I love my dog because it makes me happy, and also because it’s easier than having kids. That’s the true!
Things Dogs Moms Do
I know didn’t even birth him, but I cancel everything on my calendar to take him to the doctor for the smallest thing, so I could sleep better.
I buy him the most expensive food and check if his poop is perfect solid, has the perfect color, texture, and consistency.
I check his furry body for lumps more times than I could admit.
I think I fucking care a lot. If this is not what mothers do, what is it?!

Rather than comparing baby moms and dog moms, we should be happy and let people be happy. Set your boundaries, respect others, and just fucking enjoy caring for another living being.
