What are the best things in life?
Ahhh, Sundays. Everything is easy. This morning was a good one; my coffee was hot and smelled fantastic, the rain tapped a cozy rhythm on the window, all plans were happily canceled. This Sunday was one of those – just me, Chevy, and a whole lot of snuggles.
And I found myself thinking about the past week. Since it was Valentine’s week, we decided to skip the usual morning walk and have a celebration indoors instead.
I prepared breakfast with my boyfriend, side by side, and Chevy patiently waited on the kitchen floor. We whipped up a little doggy-safe scrambled egg, brought up the breakfast tray, and we feasted like royalty in bed!
It wasn’t a fancy day, but it was absolutely perfect.
